Business C.A.R.E. Center

The Wichita County Business CARE Center is available to rent for business, educational and social purposes. The CARE Center has a basic kitchen, is Wi-Fi connected and has flexible seating for up to 30 people. Contact WCED for fees and available dates.

WCED can help provide additional technology if needed.

WCED Staff

The Director of Economic Development is Nikki Bjurstrom, who has worked with WCED since 2019. Bjurstrom and the WCED Board of Directors are a motivated group of leaders focusing on community partnerships and teamwork.

Dedicated to promoting economic growth and stability, WCED provides progressive leadership for the betterment of Wichita County by defining problems and mapping out solutions.

WCED Board of Directors

Wichita County Economic Development is directed by a board that includes representatives from City Council, County Commission, education, business, agriculture, senior citizens, youth and minority populations. Members of the current Board of Directors are:
